Faith brings Opportunities

Faith is essential to achieve success in life.

A football player practices hundreds of moves in their lifetime. Even though some of those moves will never come to life on the pitch. But they do it anyway to prepare themselves, just in case.

They train 8 hours a day, six days a week, to play for 90 minutes. That is ~1500 minutes spent in practice for each minute played in a live game.

Even during those 90 minutes, a typical player spends 5 minutes on the ball. But they think, assess, and run in anticipation of the ball for the remaining 85 minutes.

And finally, only a few seconds of play transforms into a match-deciding goal.

All this practice, body-building, tactical assessment, mental well-being, and even careful crafting of private life, to grab an opportunity that gets over in a blink of an eye. That is life at the highest level.

It is magical how these athletes keep themselves motivated to do so many seemingly unnecessary things—all that for an opportunity that may not even come.

What is the difference? It is their undying faith that they deserve the opportunity, and they will prove it by doing whatever it takes.

Those who keep waiting for motivation will keep waiting.

Opportunities come to those who don't ask for proof of the opportunity. It comes to those who have faith in their abilities and the kindness of nature.
